Welcome to Project Virtue! We are so happy you found our page. As the name implies, this page is all about virtue, and how we can live it out in our lives. But, before we can live virtuous lives, we need to understand what virtue is.
The dictionary defines virtue as, “behavior showing high moral standards.” As Christians, we have a Book telling us what our standards are.
Living virtuously means living a life according to these standards, God’s standards.
Our purpose here at Project Virtue is to live according to God’s standards, and to encourage other teenage girls in their efforts to do the same. Sometimes, oftentimes, this is a lot easier said than done. Our friends, family, and society in general think we are crazy for pursuing a life for a God they can’t even see. We are very much in the minority, and we may be persecuted, verbally or physically. So, why do we even bother if it’s going to bring discomfort and trouble on earth?
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. “
Matthew 5:11-12 NIV
We endure trials on this earth because of the hope we have of heaven. We need to live virtuous lives so we can obtain this goal. We hope and pray that all who find Project Virtue will be blessed, encouraged, and inspired to live virtuously, all for a greater God and His glory.
