I am just going to be frank here. No beating around the bush. Because what I’m about to tell you is very, very important. So listen closely.
When you are insecure about yourself, you make God a liar. Ouch, I know. When we choose to be insecure and not believe all the precious things God says about us in His book of life, we make God untrue, and that my friend, is not good. Some people say that insecurity isn’t necessarily a sin, but it’s not very healthy. I will let you make that decision for yourself, but I believe that it is a sin not to believe the Truth of the Bible. Now, I’m not going to get into a lot of biblical exegesis here, although this would be a prime time to do so. I’m not going to try and prove to you that the biblical text is inspired and from God. All I want to present to you today is that your insecurity doesn’t affect just you. It’s not something that you can hide in your heart, unknown to everyone around you.
Maybe your fellow mankind doesn’t have a clue (although I highly doubt anyone can hide it that well), God knows. And it hurts Him. He sent His precious Son to die an excruciating death to save your soul, and you spit in His face and call Him a liar. And before you ask, yes, this is serious. You can’t ignore it anymore.
God loves you. He loves you and wants to spend eternity with you in heaven. So don’t make Him a liar anymore. Give up your pride, and believe Him. Believe what He says about you, because in His eyes, you’re perfect.
